Sound magic!!

On Monday, a meditation student of mine who has chronic knee pain since 3 years, came for sound healing.
After the first session, he reported 50% improvement by evening though he was limping and had developed some ankle pain.
Next morning I treated his knees and then foot reflex zones to help his ankles too. By evening he said, the knee was same but the ankle pain was gone.
Next morning, that is Wednesday, I gave him his knee session again. By evening he messaged saying he doesn't need to come back because he said the pain was almost gone.
He is now totally free of his chronic knee pain in 3 sessions lasting 25 minutes!
So amazing had to share!

Love!

So many colourful four letter words but this one is perfect in every way. Love! Love! Love!

So easy to misunderstand and so beautiful when you do understand it. Wanting nothing in return from a loved one, is really the most liberating feeling. Doing things from your heart, truly and not expecting anything in return.

How many of us can do that? Think about it. Can you truly love and give without wanting anything in return? Can you truly love and give without questioning any actions? Can you truly love and give and be completely happy? Can you truly love without any conditions? If yes, to all the questions, then YES to you and Love!

If you have any doubt about any questions, its time to think about the way YOU love. People are. They will always do things that you don’t like perhaps. But accepting that is also love. Living with that is also love and loving what is, is completely liberating!

Illuminate Inside

IlluminateA light bulb illuminates the outer world. What does one do to illuminate the inner world? What does one do when there is darkness? We turn on a light. Get rid of the darkness and can be productive. OR do we sit around in the darkness, not using the gift of electricity that we have?

The same way, we can illuminate our inner world through clarity in thought which comes about through awareness of breath and each moment which happens through meditation. Instead of living in fear, anger, living up to others expectations, ideas of who we are, beliefs shoved down on us about how we must behave, we can simply start accepting who we really are. What we feel. Acknowledge moment to moment our feelings of fear, anger, hatred in the same way as we accept happiness so readily. Isn’t that what we do? We are able to accept happiness so readily and welcome it with open arms but we resist all other emotions. The resistance draws such emotions even more into our reality. It confuses us. The reason being that we are not able to accept it just like we do happiness or pleasure.

Hooked

imagesIt’s so funny the things that distract our attention. The things that get our goat and the things that really cause our brains to stick on to it.  Something we don’t like happens and our mind starts to feed it with further  unwanted stuff to add fuel to the fire. It takes only a slightest and smallest thing for this to happen to us.

The tree and the blade of grass

treeWhen i was a kid, i was asked if i want to be a tree or a blade of grass. I would immediately say tree. Why? Because a tree indicates strength of course! I wanted to be a strong person and that was it. Years later, I was asked again but with something added to it, do you want to be a tree and stay steady in one place or would you like to be a blade of grass, flexible to things in life. I was taken aback. I never looked at it that way ever. I wanted to be a blade of grass of course!!

Perfectly Imperfect

missing_petalPerfection. Its like an affliction some people have. Everything has to be perfect . If things are not perfect, things are just not right. People find it difficult to accept their own mistakes and give themselves no relief and make life miserable for the ones they love too, wanting no mistakes. Unable to accept mistakes they harm relationships. There was a famous series of books written by Richard Carlson, which went by the name of : Don’t sweat the small stuff. Makes so much sense and such good advice packed in such a small sentence!
